Childrens charity event.
Bit of a change of plan for the charity father Christmas, event will now be held under the Consum Square Christmas tree arranged by Los Amigos, Tabernita, Tia Maria, Palm tree, Aloha bar, Final whistle Temptations Js Bar and Debra charity. You can drop off a gift at any of these bars for children in need in the area and the Orphanage Thank you for your support and please ask a friend to help also.
Yes is the answer 2nd Casa, there was confusion at first between myself and the lady who was organising it and I spoke to her last weekend. I was and still am happy to be a part of the "events" in consum square. As explained to the lady, we at Rojos are closed from the 4th to the 11th December as there is a family wedding to attend. We have a notice in our outside board saying this. We, like all the other bar owners appreciate all the hard work a certain lady has put in and wish it to be a huge success. Thank you for noticing we were not included in the speech as a customer of ours brought it to my attention.
The reason Rojos is not on the list (and the list of people who have contributed to the Christmas tree, light etc is printed now on the tree) youll find Rojos is not included because they where the only bar that wouldn't give any money. so don't come back and say your fully supportive because you not. most bars put 50 euro in but Rojos put nothing, sounds a bit harsh but its true.
As always there is more to the facts than 1st thought, words written or spoken can say one thing but mean another depends on how they are presented. PS are there any other bars /businesses on consum that didn't contribute ? Maybe they are doing something else but not directly in a monetary way ! or they may not celebrate Xmas.
Thank you Jeremy for knowing more than me as usual. As you were not around when I spoke to Tina from the Palm Tree I find it none of your business to put things into print. As Tina well knows I am not around and when she herself knows how much has been spent out AND no one is out of pocket I will be paying her in person on my return.. If you wish to keep on trying to slander me and my business I will be taking legal advice with the intention of denouncing you. I will not be answering any more of your comments so please keep your own personal opinion's to yourself.
The fact is Mr Murrey, who intentionally went out of his way to jeopardise a court case I had back in the UK, going under a false name and didn't take long to work out who it was, after conning us out of spending hundreds on Rojos and even offering us a new contract only to email us with one weeks notice, denounce me all you like my friend, ive checked with the Palm tree and she confirmed that you hadn't paid anything. All the businesses that have are clearly displayed for anyone to look at. The event and post was about charity at Christmas for children, that's all. your personal vendetta with me is irrelevant. Mr Murrey. When you see me again instead of cowering away why not come and talk about it. Anyway, point is there is a charity event for local children so please support it.
Myra
Looking at an earlier comment, which seems to be connected to this event, It appears to be the Friday before Christmas. Not sure of times though.
It is unfortunate that two bars who have a bit of previous between them, Have opened up old wounds, which could lead to harming the efforts of others, who are trying to give kids a much nicer time at Christmas, than they would of got.
Cannot see this event in the events section? Is it still on or just a bit of a secret?
The event is on the Sunday evening under the Christmas tree from 6pm but you can leave a gift with any of the bars in consum. We did it last year between Palm Tree Aloha and Final whistle and we had three car loads of gifts. Please support it, Doesn't have to be much just maybe some chocolate or a small gift.
What about Rojos didn't they join in ?
